met up @ 新天地 had a beer then proceeded to 衡山路 to 6c6c ... mostly discos ... followed a group of mostly gals including 2 very pretty tall ones ... but unfortunately not disciplined enough and got distracted ... so LL lost them in the end. Back from Shanghai last week on biz trip. Hope the info provided will be useful.

I was there as a Client. It was my S’pore sales (Ken) who brought us there and I think the standard is good (compared to S’pore). Ken paid for everything except for Gals.

Went to 2 KTVs - “The Cosmo - <Hua Du> & < Jin Di>”. Ken knew the mama & papa san

Prices from RMB 3600 for the room and beers (think approx 1 carton of Tsingtao Chun Sheng). (Have to know the mama/papa san, they will offer you 20% to 50% discount). Either you order to a minimum amount of drinks or you pay for the room if did not hit the drink quota.

500RMB – Gals; Bring back – 1500RMB
500RMB - Mama / papa san
300RMB - DJ (xiao mei)
100RMB – Don’t know give who
5 to 10RMB – Toilet Manager

Hua Du – Toilet outside every room, very convenient. Near to Nan Jin. Mama san (San Mei ) very sporty, can play & have fun.

Jin Di – Gals are much prettier and taller than Hua Du. Common toilet, toilet manager kept disturb you for tips. Far from Nan Jin (30 mins taxi). Papa san (Ah Jie ) looked after us v good.

Overall, even though Ken knew mama / papa san, after 50% discount, it is still v expensive (approx $400 for room, beers & fruits/mineral water/peanuts, etc). 1 night you will pay $400 ($100 + $300) if you bring back. Unless you booked same gals for 2 or 3 night and neg with her lor.

I remember the charge was 580 a few years ago, then someone mentioned 880 a few months ago. They definitely offer full service.

I thought it is just be who is coughing all the way in Shanghai. I thought being here for the 1st time in winter was the root cause. Being here for six weeks now and developed the cough after Christmas Day.

You can try Can Can Bar at 衡山路. I am not sure where side road but it is opposite those disco frequented by the foreighers. Ladies drink is 50CNY. The last time I was there it cost me 900CNY. 3 Mei Mei dat with me as there weren't other customers. I was too drunk to say NO but not drunk enuf to wavie the bill.

If you really want to see some pubs, how about going over to 富民路？There's a 88 disco there. Quite a lot of chicks on Friday night usually. Go to the bar and grab a drink, sit down and try to fish. Its a noisy place though..

Alternatively, go to 衡山路, got some bars with 陪酒. Can't remember the names, as I went only 1 time before.

Me having the same problem too, Chairman Mao don't support me all aong, somemore old liao, thats why whenever Esteem Bro SS and Bro PP invite me to cheong KTV, I can only sit in one corner and suck my thumb only hiaz........, no Meimei luv luv!

l will only be back in SH after CNY, most likely in late February, by then may stay on for longer period during every trip since I may be stationed in PRC.

Not much choice for me. I dun have enuf Chairman Mao to go KTV liked some brothers here do so often. Also not yaotao enuf (too old) to hunt for mei mei. So can only pay small money for mei mei to sit with me. Usually only ask one mei mei but that night dun know why 3 sat down and I did not declined. Woke up next day with a heartache rather than a headache.

I will be here until March and maybe can meet some brothers for clean fun (cannot afford expensive fun).

Hi bro thanks for the recommendations, found 1 next to the hotel along ren tong road. It is called the sauna, costs rmb900+.

Also there is a ktv at mariott hotel across ritz. Rmb1500 for the room booking. Just went to the bar and you pay for what you drink. But how do you ta bao the girl?
