Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Chelsea dropped 2 points, Newcastle seems likely as well. Great opportunity to close the gap! Come on boys! Liverpool 2 Bolton 0

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Started playing only when 2 goals down. Minds must be on the City game midweek.
Bolton won the midfield battle, Lucas sorely missed here. No cover for the back four. Will come back, 4-3 o Pool.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Pool probably played one of their worst games this season! Defence was napping all the way, midfield not connecting. Bellamy seemed to be the only player in the red shirt playing his hearts out. Really sick to see teams at the bottom who always seem to raise their games against us!!!

Dalglish slams players after loss January 21, 2012 Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has slammed his players 4 a lack of desire following the club's 3-1 defeat @ Bolton Wanderers on Saturday evening. A dismal performance saw the Reds go 2-0 behind, b4 Craig Bellamy gave the Reds hope b4 ht. However, it was short-lived as Gretar Steinsson's goal ended the contest & left Dalglish livid. "The result is disappointing, but the most disappointing thing 4 me was tat I don't think we were ready 2 play the game," Dalglish said. "I don't think the approach was correct & I don't think the way we went abt our work was correct. "The foundations of the football club hv always been built upon respect 4 other ppl & the philosophy tat the next game is the most important 1 - not the 1 tat is 2 or 3 (games) down the line. "If they needed a lesson 2 be taught 2 them then 2day was it. If they think they can just turn up & get a result, not be as competitive & not match the opposition 4 effort & commitment then they've got a lesson 2day. "If they've learned it then fine. Without trying 2 take anything away fr Owen (Coyle) & the way Bolton played, we hv 2 look @ ourselves & see wat we can do 2 try & prevent it fr happening in the future. That's wat we'll do." Liverpool go in2 the Carling Cup semi-final against ManC on Wednesday @ Anfield with a 1-0 lead, but then play host 2 ManU in the FA Cup 4th round on Saturday. Asked whether he felt his players may hv had 1 eye on the cup ties, Dalglish replied: "I never asked them wat they were thinking abt, but I would assume ppl would hv tat idea in their mind. If they did it's not correct. It's not correct in the sense tat it is not the right way 2 go abt representing tis football club." Dalglish laid the blame @ his players 1s again 4 the opening 2 the game & claimed tat they were not prepared. The manager continued: "We lost a goal aft 4 mins, but we've got 2 make sure we're in there & ready 2 go b4 we start the match, & I don't think we were. That's probably why we lost a goal aft 4 mins. "There's nobody been @ tis football club tat's not had respect 4 other ppl. If tat is wat the problem was then, tat they thought tis game wasn't as important a game as the next 1, then fine but they'll not be here. The key now 4 us is not 2 repeat wat we've done." |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
I'm glad to see Kenny slam the players. Simply terrible. It's the worst Glen Johnson has played for a long time, and Enrique wasn't much better, but the whole team was outplayed. We lost goals to players who have never scored in their lives.

Agreed...players are to blame...simply lethargic and unforced errors...
