Nana Hotel is gal friendly and affordable priced at $50 per night.
For happenings at night, You can go to the NANA disco which is just at the ground level...lot's of FL there, if your lucky you may even get a free ONS. NANA plaza is just opposite the hotel which is very convenient for a night out.

If you need a gal friendly hotel near the Holiday Inn Silom, then I would like to suggest the Silom Village Inn which is located obliquely opposite the Holiday Inn. The renovated rooms are nice and clean at about 1200 bahts per night.
