Viets gals is mainly matriarch society. Woman in charge - not really. if you are familiar with viet family stories, its mostly patriarch leaning. The difference is only less patriarch leaning than other cultures, still not mostly matriarch leaning. a lot of alpha males in vietnamese cultures, similar to thais.

agree with you on thai family teaching, but...... they really suck when it comes to finance matters. Probably the lowest financial literacy standards. I have yet to come across other people with lower financial sense than thais so far. So you got to be super tight with your money even when married with thais.

Unfortunately I seen too many bad case of marriage with Viets. - yes, me too. But i have also seen a fair share of bad marriages with Thais. for this, doesnt seem like who's better to me.

I am fortunate to be the good case of marriage with a viet wife. Probably she love me more than I love her.
