Re: Cheapest Budget Airline to Bangkok
[QUOTE=NobleEagle;2048083]Hi all, could any travel gurus advise plssss?
Which is the cheapest budget airline to Bangkok from here? Hi, Like all the full service airlines, It's expensive to travel on the first flight on weekend (Fri & Sat). However, sometimes it's cheaper to travel with budget airlines on weekend when they have price promotion. I just booked an one way ticket to Bkk for weekend on next january. The tiger fare costs me S$19.19 plus other charges that amount to S$86. By looking at the limited supply & speculation the price of crude oil. I believe there will be another increase of sub-charge by the airlines very soon as SIA has just increased the fuel sub-charge last week. Cheers.

Re: Cheapest Budget Airline to Bangkok
I think we also have to take into consideration the travel cost to and from airport as well as the timings of the flights you are taking.
Jetstar and Tiger's evening (630pm) flights are ideal for after work (maybe sneak off a bit early! ) but Airasia give you more time with its 840pm flights Jetstar and Tiger's first flight is 710am and 630am and to be on time , we'll have to start our journey before 6am. And taxi is the only option so midnite charge will come into consideration. If suay like me staying in the west , it can come up to S$30. I rather take AirAsia's 1055am flight where I can relax to take the MRT. Surprisingly , after the rush hour , it only takes 50mins to reach changi from Jurong West. Coming back also is a headache as both Tiger and Jetstar arrives at 2330hrs and 0005hrs. By the time you clear customs , you'll hit the cabs at midnite charges. AirAsia arrives at 2005hrs ; plenty of time to catch a cab or MRT. All in all , my favorite timings cost about S$20 more than Tiger or Jetstar but I save on midnite charge cab fare both ways which can go up to S$60 I dont really like the Fenandez guy coz he always whack Singapore but his flights are better! |

Hi, Heading to any destination on any date within the month of January is never a problem for me. As long the fare is reasonable, it will be fine with me. Now, I have to determine when is the right date to fly back to Sg. Cheers.
