Hi. Just wondering if anyone knows how I may purchase porn vcds in china. I am surprised that it is not sold in the streets. But I am quite sure it must be sold in shops that I am not aware of. Your help appreciated.

Just go into any DVD shop. They usually have concealed rooms where the 'special' DVDs are kept. They'll only reveal this to regulars but as a foreigner I'm sure you'll be admitted.

1. China so big, where exactly are you talking about?
2. Most porn are in DVD formats.
3. No need to be surprise that they aren't sold openly on the streets. Its a very serious crime.
4. Most peddlers / shops will have porn. All you need to do is ask for it. Quality wise, beware - for 5 bucks, you may / maynot get exactly what's printed on the covers

I was in Beijing recently and took a bus to those big computer Stores on the city limits (the number 4 bus costing 2 Yuan. This is one big feckin city. It took 1hr 20 minutes to get there - near the outer ring road. Anyway, dozens of people selling Adult DVD's although you have to follow them into run down housing estates about 5/6 minutes away. They were been very careful.

In Beijing, take a cab to Pai Huay Kwan Chan, lots of touts outside this IT mall selling VCD and DVD.

i only got very good quality stuffs at the "xin4 he2 zhong1 xin1 / 信和中心" level 3 in HK 旺角 彌敦道 mah, for hk$200, can get 8 dvds or 11 vcds, good hor uncle sinoview hor? hehehe...

as for beijing, walk around the IT mall area or "zhong1 guan1 cun1 / 中关村",
someone will approach u... but the quality is no gd, as the pics in front doesn't match the vcd inside.

that's all i know, hehehe...
