Guess the race: Sinkie landlady from hell.

Here is how it goes: I agreed to rent a common room from this lady at the mentioned address for 1 yr lease starting on 26 Oct. On 26 Oct, I moved in. The landlady was still friendly when I handed the rent over. She handed over the keys. The place is very dark and all windows closed. No lights on. Very warm and stuffy. 26 Oct - I started to move my things in from my pickup and along the way I met the next door neighbor who warned me about past tenants who stayed in my place for a short while less than 1 mth then move out. She also told me the landlady would sometimes wake up the tenants in the middle of the night, restrict the tenant to washing their clothing. I did not bother about what she said. I asked the agent about it and was told the landlady and this neighbor are not on good terms that why she is badmouthing her. So I did not bother about what the neighbor said. After I am done with my stuffs, I ask her about the fridge usage. She gave me half of space of one level in the fridge and she forbids me to use the freezer which is not what we agreed on before we signed the TA.The fridge was all stocked every level with leftover food and half opened canned food. The side was stocked with bottles of liquids. That night, I tried taking shower. After I am done, she showed her true self. She said toilet floor cannot be wet after shower (WTF) and when brushing teeth, the mirror also cannot be wet. She also said the kitchen lights cannot be on and toilet lights only on during shower time. She also come to my room a few times when I leave my room with the fan on and turn off the fan and said fan to be off whenever I leave my room. She said this is to save electricity. At this point, really reaching my boiling point. I turn to sleep that night. She sleep in the living room on mattress. Through out the night, i heard those bottle spraying liquid sound at my door. The house only both of us. She must be spraying something at my door which I did not bother to check as it was late and I was tired. 27 Oct - I wake up and she is not in. I took a look at the freezer. I was shocked to see frozen blood stain from meat sticking to the base of the freezer, the freezer looks very dirty and stained with rotten food bits and pieces and smells bad. It was damn gross. Now then I know why she forbids me to use the freezer. The kitchen cabinet are all locked with chains. Noon, I return home and she return home from market. She also told me open the door metal gate cannot have noise/sound(How to do that?). I ignored her. Then in the afternoon, i went to toilet and she went to my room and saw that I have brought along a TV. She then started to go into rage and want to increase my rental to extra $50/mth because I bought along a TV and TV consume a lot of electricity and bill will go up. At this stage, I start to get into agrument with her. Firstly, before signning TA and during viewing, I already told her I bringing along my TV and rental is based on $700. If dont agree then during signning TA should said and lay out all the house rules. She also said I put alot things in the fridge which I only put one bottle of water that’s all. She also said I use alot of water. I only been there for 1.5 days urine a few times shower once on sat brush twice and **** once. So she said the extra $50/mth is to make up for TV electricity and water and things I put in the fridge. She also said she is the owner as and when she like to change rules, she will change. Then, sign TA for what? Now then I realize what the neighbor told me on the first day I move in is true. I realized I have boarded ‘pirate ship’, of course refused to pay. After much nego and arguments, she even said want to call her son to come down and talk to me but through out the end didn’t even get to meet her so called ‘’son”. She left me two options: either stay for 2 months and forgo the security deposit and 1 month rental or leave tonight and she will return me the security deposit and 1 month rental less these 2 days of stay at $100. Of course, I choose the later options. I was stranded outside the flat with stuff while waiting for vehicle to pick me up to my old landlord place. Please be aware of this address posting at propertyguru for common room and master room. I know got one ang moh guy got ‘chop carrot head’ as he is stated to move in next week to the master room, that’s why I heard. I believe the common room posting will be up soon. The landlady is a single Indian auntie. Anyone ever think of getting room please be aware, the posting will put this price but after you sign TA paid rental and deposit, rules will change again.
