分手费 - Got such thing ?

When break-up with local girls, no need to pay 分手费. But when break-up with PRCs or MMs, they will ask for it. And some do pay for it.

My friend's MM gf study here but he doesn't allow her to work in KTV. Pay her only half of her earning potential per month. So now she going back, she asked for some compensation for loss of income.

Anybody paid before? Is it reasonable ? If yes, how much is reasonable?

Your friend's MM gf comes SG to study, but your friend doesn't allow her to work in KTV. ---> Which means the MM intended to work in KTV, and maybe to a certain extend "sell" herself. But your friend don't allow her to work thus compensate her half her potential earnings.

There is 2 ways to look at it, no right or no wrong:
1.) Your friend compensates her the balance half. Cos she is her study + working in KTV. So to a certain extend she is selling herself. But in this case she only sells to your friend "exclusively" (we never know though).
2.) Your friend dun compensate her a single cent. Both parties got in this relationship willingly with no contracts involved.

Above are just my humble opinion.

if she ask for 分手费...tell her to go back china 1st and wait for yr transfer to her bank account. but tell her u need another $500 from her 1st to open a account so that u can do the transfer.
After she went back, cut-off all connection with her without any trace.
Then use the $500 invest in another mm..and recycle this same tactic.
Tat will be what i will do if they ask for the so-called 分手费.

Haha that sounds like a cool idea. but i propose that you change the term to 'transfer fee'. it sounds the English Premier League transfer fee man...keh keh keh

分手费???

She lucky I never charge her a "start-up" fee(kai1 shi3 fei4) in the first place.

And now after use, 分手费 should be ALWAYS half of what start up fee is mah.. Get her to pay me then I consider pay her lah..

Afterall, 2nd hand liao leh...
