Relocating to Shanghai...
Hi all bros in Shanghai,

My company is going to post me to Shanghai for few years. However, I am newbie to Shanghai. Can any bros help me or enlighten me regarding the followings?

1. How is range of the rental in pudong and puxi? The rental place preferred should have one bedroom, one large living hall and one balcony. Should have security guard. My company doesn't have good budget and I am not an expat.

2. What to look out for when renting an apartment? How is the process like?

3. Any good chiong places that you can recommend?

Guess your choices might not be alot then.. You have to decide on Puxi or Pudong...

Hi bro Niceman, good to hear that you are moving to Shanghai soon. Where is the place that you have settled? Pudong? I heard from my clients that pudong are is cheaper in terms of rental but a bit far from town just like what you have described.

I don't mind staying far from town in Pudong area. I think I will only go town during weekends.
